Jewish Harbin (Northern China) and our Tone is a Tune

Your Tone is a Tune

Every time you speak to another person, your tone of voice is either going to be similar to pleasant music or to distressful notes.

When a person is frustrated or angry or overwhelmed, the tone of voice emits very different music than when a person is calm and serene, happy and joyful, kind and compassionate.

If someone would have to sing at his best professionally, regardless of how he felt a few minutes earlier, he knows that he has to put himself into the state of singing well.

The more important the reason for singing well, the more motivated he would feel to do the best job he possibly could.

That should be our attitude when speaking to another child of the Almighty. We are speaking in the presence of the Creator to one of His children. Speak with a tone of voice that is conducive to harmony with others.

Enjoy the music and the tone of this piece. This is a part of Jewish history we never learned. Very interesting.

Something to think about and Fears and MY NEW BLOG SITE http://yehudalave.blogspot.com/

Fears: Realistic and Irrational

Learn to differentiate between realistic fears and irrational fears. Similarly, differentiate between true trust in the Almighty and folly.

We have an obligation to guard ourselves from potential harm. Failure to behave in a wise manner and opening oneself to danger is not trust in God, but recklessness. Such a person is behaving contrary to the will of the Creator Who wants us to guard ourselves from harm.

Several years ago, I went on a tour of a construction site of new religious school. Even though, there were open stairwells and sharp construction items lying throughout the site, the spiritual leaders took pregnant women and elderly people throughout the site, without precaution. I was shocked and warned the leaders, but they said "don't worry", G-d will watch out for us." This is folly not true trust.

G-d helps those that help themselves. We are not robots, we are G-d's partners. Bad things happen, not by chance, since G-d runs the world, but we don't have to help them happen.

Something to think about

Quote of the Week 'I believe that banking institutions
are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of
their currency, first by inflation,
then by deflation, the banks and
corporations that will grow up around the banks will
deprive the people of all property until
their children wake-up homeless
on the continent their fathers conquered.' Thomas Jefferson 1802

Somebody thinks of you and Long Lasted Pleasure

Long-Lasting Pleasure

If people who only seek worldly pleasures would be more aware of what they would gain in terms of living a joyful life by gaining a good deed-orientation to life, they would upgrade their entire way of thinking and acting.

They want pleasure and joy, and they would realize that the way to long-lasting pleasure and joy is rejoicing in Spirituality and Good Deeds
