Gratitude Exercise

This "gratitude exercise" will have a positive effect when you practice it at least 10 times a day. It is advisable to practice it at least once an hour for the first week. You'll be grateful you did.

[Touch forehead]

"I am grateful for my mind to think good thoughts."

[Touch near eyes]

"I am grateful for my eyes to see good things."

[Touch ears]

"I am grateful for my ears to hear good things."

[Touch near mouth]

"I am grateful for my mouth to speak good things."

[Raise hands]

"I am grateful for my hands to do good things."

[Move feet slightly]

"I am grateful for my feet to walk to do good."

"I am grateful for all that I can be grateful for."

I am grateful that G-d has allowed me to live with my people in the Land of Israel

animated Louis Armstrong jazz rendition of Yetziat Mitzraim

Take a 4 minute break and add some joy to your Pesach preparations with this fabulous animated Louis Armstrong jazz rendition of Yetziat Mitzraim, the Exodus from Egypt. This is done by Nina Paley, a Jewish American animator who has also been working on the ten plagues. Her Tabernaculous is interesting also. It is the one before this one.

Why Seniors are happy

Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts, as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts, as the American Flag passes by in a parade!

I'm the life of the party ... even if it lasts until 8 p.m. I'm very good at opening childproof caps ... with a hammer. I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.

I'm smiling all the time, because I can't hear a thing you're saying. I'm sure everything I can't find is in a safe secure place, somewhere. I'm wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that's just my left leg.I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Yes, I'm a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life! Now if I could only remember who sent this to me, I wouldn't send it back to them.

Or, maybe I should send it to all my friends anyway. They won't remember, even if they did send it. Spread the laughter. Share the cheer. Let's be happy
While we're here.
