Having a bad Day? check this out

Rabbi Yehuda Lave from Jerusalem
Overcome Fears Blocking Action

When trying to influence someone and you find that your first approach is not effective, try to figure out what specifically is holding him back from accepting your position. For example: What fears might he have? What obstacles might he be focusing on that would make it difficult for him? Then show the person why he has no reason to be afraid and that the potential obstacles will not be a problem.

Today, think about what fears are holding you back from taking some positive action that you know is in your best interest. Imagine that you have been given the gift of tremendous courage and confidence. Let this empower you - and resolve to take action!

IF YOU'VE GOT 5 MINUTES To have some compassion, LOOK AT THIS, IT'S FUN
Think you are having a bad day ?
Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section
of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire. The
deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba
tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.
A post-mortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but frommassive internal injuries.

Dental records provided a positive
identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a
fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.
It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off
the coast, some 20 miles from the forest. The fire fighters, seeking
to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of
helicopters with very large dip buckets. Water was dipped from the
ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.
You guessed it. One minute our diver was making like Flipper in the
Pacific, the next, he was doing the breast stroke in a fire dip bucket
300 feet in the air.
Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. but keep reading....
Still think you're having a bad day ? A man was working on his
motorcycle on the patio, his wife nearby in the kitchen. While
racing the engine, the motorcycle accidentally slipped into gear. The
man, still holding onto the handlebars, was dragged along as it burst
through the glass patio doors.
His wife, hearing the crash, ran in the room to find her husband cut
and bleeding, the motorcycle, and the shattered patio door. She
called for an ambulance and, because the house sat on a fairly large
hill, went down the several flights of stairs to meet the paramedics
and escort them to her husband.

While the attendants were loading her husband, the wife managed to
right the motorcycle and push it outside. She also quickly blotted
up the spilled gasoline with some paper towels and tossed them into
the toilet.
After being treated and released, the man returned home, looked at theshattered patio door and the damage done to his motorcycle. He wentinto the bathroom and consoled himself with a cigarette while
attending to his business.

About to stand, he flipped the butt
between his legs.
The wife, who was in the kitchen, heard a loud explosion and her
husband screaming. Finding him lying on the bathroom floor with his
trousers blown away and burns on his buttocks, legs and groin, she
once again phoned for an ambulance. The same paramedic crew was dispatched.

As the paramedics carried the man down the stairs to the ambulance
they asked the wife how he had come to burn himself. She told them.
They started laughing so hard, one slipped, the stretcher dumping the
husband out. He fell down the remaining stairs, breaking his arm.
Still having a bad day ?
Just remember, it could be worse..
The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdez oil
spill in Alaska was $80,000. At a special ceremony, two of the most
expensively saved animals were being released back into the wild amid
cheers and applause from onlookers. A minute later, in full view, a
killer whale ate them both.
Still think you are having a bad day ?
A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen shaking
frantically, almost in a dancing frenzy, with some kind of wire
running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to
jolt him away from the deadly current, she whacked him with a handy
plank of wood, breaking his arm in two places. Up to that moment, he
had been happily listening to his Walkman.
STILL think you're having a bad day ?
Two animal rights protesters were protesting at the cruelty of sending
pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn, Germany. Suddenly, all two
thousand pigs broke loose and escaped through a broken fence,
stampeding madly. The two hapless protesters were trampled to death.
What ?! STILL having a bad day ??
Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn't pay enough postage on a letter
bomb. It came back with 'return to sender' stamped on it.
Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.
There now, feeling better?

Honeymooning Israeli dies on flight from Europe to Miami

Man said to suffer allergic reaction after eating kosher meal

May 3, 2017, 1:30 pm

An Israeli man died overnight Tuesday after eating a meal on a plane to Miami, where he and his newlywed wife were traveling to for their honeymoon.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that an Israeli citizen died during the Iberia flight from Spain to the US "due to health reasons."

"The department for Israelis abroad and the Israeli consul in Miami, Eliyahu Levy, are helping the family bring the body back for burial in Israel," the ministry said.

An initial investigation pointed toward a food allergy as a likely cause of the man's rapid deterioration and collapse after he finished his specially ordered kosher meal, according to Hebrew media reports.

Cabin crew tried to resuscitate the man, 32, but were unable to save him.

Spanish and US official launched an investigation into the incident.

The Zaka emergency rescue service said it was alerted to the man's death before the plane landed in Miami and immediately put into operation its international procedures to have a representative meet the victim's wife at the airport. They were married two months ago.

Zaka operations head Haim Winegarten said the organization also contacted the man's doctor in Israel to obtain his medical records, which apparently showed he had a food allergy. The medical records would be necessary to arrange the return of the man's body back to Israel.

After the plane landed the body taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Miami.

Rabbi Meir Kahane

"A Treaty with the United States"

Jewish Press May 5, 1978

As the pressure grows on Israel to commit suicide, the United States – through carefully planned leaks – has begun to wave a trial balloon and a seductive proposal to Israel, and more important, to the Jews there and without, who seek any "reasonable" solution. The seduction is called a formal treaty between the United States and Israel by which the Americans would guarantee the survival of the Jewish state.

Who in possession of even a modicum of common sense would trust the United States to carry out a treaty obligation that would involve the use of American troops and possible heavy losses?

Who will trust the Americans, whose "faithfulness" to their South Vietnamese allies is legendary? Who does not realize that a treaty will only tie Israeli hands as every decision to retaliate against terror raids or wars of "attrition" will be vetoes by the senior partner?

Let the Americans keep their treaties and let the Jews renew theirs with the ALL Mighty. And never were the words of the prophet (Isaiah 30:2-3) more true: "Who go down to Egypt and have not asked of My mouth . . . to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Paraoh be your shame, and the trust in Egypt your confusion." The L-rd, on the L-rd.

"Brzeninski: Is He Good for the Jews,"

Kahane Magazine, September 1978, pp20-22

The United States surely acts upon its own interests and this is most legitimate. But Washington conceives of its interest in ways very different from the Israeli ones. The state department and the Pentagon (and there is no basic difference here between Democratic and Republican administrations) look at American interests in terms of oil, potential business contracts and investments in the Middle East, and, above all, to increase American influence in the Arab world. When the presidential advisor says "a settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict is in the American interest," what he is really saying is that a solution that the Arabs will find relatively favorable is in the American interest, and if that solution conflicts with Israel's security or moral obligation, that is unfortunate.

The historical record shows an America that refused obstinately to give weapons to the beleaguered Jews in 1948, that attempted to shelve the U.N. plan for a Jewish state in favor of a trusteeship and that pressured Ben-Gurion not to declare a Jewish state. It shows American pressure forcing the Jews to give up the northern Sinai after it was captured from the invading Egyptians in 1948 and to surrender the Sinai and the Gaza Strip in 1956 after Israel had smashed the Nasser noose that threatened to strange it. It shows an America that pledged to keep the Gulf of Aqaba open and the United Nations peace-keeping forces between Israel and Egypt, and that then reneged on its promise in the terrible two weeks that preceded the June 1967 war. It shows an America that refused to sell Phantom jets to Israel all through 1971; that prevented Israel from striking a pre-emptive blow on the eve of the Yom Kippur War (that, not Israeli intransigence, was what cost 2,5000 lives); that held up arms shipments to a bleeding Israel so as to prevent their routing the Arabs; that forced Israel to accept a cease-fire when it was on the verge of wiping out the Egyptian Third Army; and that brutally pressured Israel through "reassessment" – cutting off arms shipments and economic aid – into giving up the vital Sinai passes and all Israel's oil.

. . . Who believes that America will do better for Israel than it did for its formal ally, South Vietnam? The only reality is American pressure to force Israel to do what is good – in the

Administration's eyes – for America, regardless of whether it is suicidal for Israel.

The Only Remaining People Under Military Occupation in the World
Mahmoud Abbas shamelessly lied to the President of the United States in front of the entire world.

Editor's Note: Elder of Ziyon wrote the blog post below in 2011, but that didn't stop Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas from repeating the same exact lie last yesterday to US President Donald Trump (among the many other explicit lies he said straight to the President's face).

Even though I fisked Maen Areikat's op-ed in the Washington Post yesterday (2011), there were too many lies for one post. In fact, one can make an entire post from each of his lies.

One of my readers, who would like to remain anonymous, did exactly that.

Areikat said that the Palestinian Arabs were "the only remaining people under military occupation in the world."

Certainly.

Except for the Kurds, of course, the Turkish military rides the Kurds pretty hard, and they use live ammunition. But except for the Kurds, the Palestinians really are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the people of the Western Sahara, of course. But the Moroccan Army makes sure that the world doesn't hear much about them. Still, they're occupied and not happy about it, so except for the Kurds and the Western Sahara, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the Uyghur of Eastern Turkistan. And the Tibetans of Tibet. The Chinese pretty much bash the Uyghurs and the Tibetans if they say peep. Still, except tor the Uyghur, the Tibetans, the Western Saharans, and the Kurds, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the people of Darfur, of course. It's pretty ugly what goes on in Darfur. Rape, murder, pillage, and wholesale ethnic cleansing for the sake of land theft all committed by a militia backed by the Arab government of Sudan. Better not to talk about it. Still, it's happening, so we kind of do have to at least mention it. So, except for the people of Darfur, the Uyghur, the Tibetans, the Western Saharans, and the Kurds, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the people of Western Papua where they are really, really not happy about living under Indonesian military occupation. Neither are the people of Aceh, just ask them. So Except for Aceh, Western Papua, Darfur, the Uyghur, the Tibetans, the Western Saharans, and the Kurds, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the Tamils of Sri Lanka. But the Sri lankan government pretty much snuffed them, in fact, maybe they don't count any more since that was the nearest thing a deliberate, calculated genocide that the world has seen this millennia. Even the omniscient Wikipedia lists them as "no longer active."

Sheesh, talk about mealy-mouthed. Dead! They're dead. The Sri Lankans killed them and nobody except John Lee Anderson writing in the New Yorker even cared. A few of them did survive and manage to stay in Sri Lanka, so I suppose we should count them. So except for the Tamil of Sri Lanka, Aceh, Western Papua, Darfur, the Uyghur, the Tibetans, the Western Saharans, and the Kurds, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And Baluchistan, and Wazirstan, you really do have to mention Baluchistan and Wazirstan because not only are they really, really pissed off by the Pakistani military occupation, lots of people die from it. And when a military occupation is killing that many people, we at least have to add them to this list. So, except for Baluchistan, Waziristan, the Tamil of Sri Lanka, Aceh, Western Papua, Darfur, the Uyghur, the Tibetans, the Western Saharans, and the Kurds, the Palestinians are the only remaining people under military occupation in the world.

And the oppressed Assyrians of Syria, and the Patani in southern Thailand, the Kurds of Syria, the Syrian Druse, the Coptic Christians of Egypt, the….

Oh, why bother?

[Another Editor's Note: EoZ asked us to add Ukraine, because except for the Russian occupation Crimea… and then there's Georgia's territories of Abkhazia and the South Ossetia, also currently occupied by Russia…so except for…]
