Rabbi Yehuda Lave Accept And Appreciate Reality Rabbi Mordechai of Lekhivitz used to say, "If things do not go the way you wish them to be, you should then wish them to be the way they are in reality." This means we need to accept reality and find our joy in life within that. Today, find a good time begin a program whereby you repeat this thought every day. Repeat it many times until it becomes part of your thinking. Mastery of this attitude can transform a person's life. Love Yehuda Lave 40 MUST SEE HISTORIC PHOTOS IN COLOR. Rabbi Yehuda Lave Discipline Breeds Success If a person has many faults in different areas and is confused about where to start, he should select one trait and work specifically on it. It takes self-discipline to correct a trait. To overcome a fault, your intellect must rule over your desires. Once you've gone through the process once, this will help you correct many other traits. Realize as well that all character traits are dependent on each other. If you correct one trait, this will automatically be a stepping stone to correcting other traits. There are at least eight to 10 deaths per year with people trying to get in or out in boats that are not made for this kind of severe beating - the kind you will see these boats going through.     These boats are self-righting, have a super low center of gravity, sealed engine compartments, basically bullet proof glass windows, double steel hulls. Well, you get the  idea.      They are commercial shrimp and  fishing boats. The Coast Guard has closed it to any  other boats due to waves of 35 to 45 feet. It is quite  a sight to see. Nothing destroys the potential for parents to have a close relationship with children as disciplining through excessive fear. When children are still young, parents should be aware that one day their children will become independent. Parents who use fear as a weapon create negative feelings in the children. When they grow up, those children are likely to rebel against their parents and go their own way.
