Acquiring a home in Israel is a test for a Jew. G-d is directly involved in your ability to live in the land of Israel. In my first incarnation here I was in Yeshiva here for 5 years, but I did not walk the talk, and G-d threw me out of the land. I yearned to come back and with G-d's help I did enough chuva to merit making aliya 10 years ago in December. For the last 7 years I had a very comfortable home right in the center of all the learning going on in Jerusalem. Alas, all good things come to an end and the building was undergoing a Tama renovation and we had to move, which we did to a new apartment for us (its an old building) where I was promised a four year lease after almost a year of looking for a new place. Last night my wife and I slept in out new place for the first time after a very stressful move. Lahaim! Love Yehuda Lave Join my blog by sending me an email to YehudaLave@gmail.com
