Pre-School Test and gold and Silver and Copper on this Friday Morning

Much of the bible deals with  the building of the Mishkahn, the Hebrew word for  the Holy Tabernacle that was used as a mobile home church for the 40 years in the desert.  Most people don't know it was also used for about 400 more years after the Jews came into Israel. After receiving instructions from G-d on how to build it, Moses calls on the Jewish people to donate the necessary materials, "whoever is of a willing heart let him bring". Among the list of materials that are needed we find gold, silver and copper. I understand gold but why silver and copper? Is this not a dwelling place for G-d? Shouldn't we use only gold, the most precious metal?

The Lubavitcher Rebbe explains the importance of all the metals:

"Gold" represents the purity and perfection of the tzaddik (holy person).
"Silver" represents the great yearning of the Baal Teshuvah ("returnee" or penitent) for closeness to G-d--a yearning many times more powerful than that of the tzaddik, because it is a yearning from afar (kessef, the Hebrew word for silver, also means "yearning")
"Copper", the lowliest of metals, represents the good deeds of the sinner.

G-d's home on earth is complete only when it includes all three.

This explanation is so beautiful. The idea that all people no matter what level they are on are precious to G-d. It is something to keep in mind next time I don't feel so worthy of G-d's many blessings. You, my dear reader can also keep this in mind, you are all important to G-d no matter where you stand and His home can not be complete without you!.

Love Yehuda

SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU

Which way is the bus below traveling?

To the left or to the right?

Can't make up your mind?
Look carefully at the picture again.

Still don't know?

Pre-schoolers all over the United States

were shown this picture and asked the same question.
90% of the pre-schooler's gave this answer. "The bus is traveling to the left."

When asked, "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?"

They answered:

"
Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."

How do you feel now ???

I know, me too. Have a nice day!
