1. My mother taught me TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE .
"If you're going to kill each other, do it outside.. I just finished cleaning."

2. My mother taught me RELIGION.
"You better pray that will come out of the carpet."

3. My mother taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!"

4. My mother taught me LOGIC.
"Because I said so, that's why."

5. My mother taught me MORE LOGIC.
"If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you're not going to the store with me."

6. My mother taught me FORESIGHT.
"Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you're in an accident."

7. My mother taught me IRONY.
"Keep crying, and I'll give you something to cry about."

8. My mother taught me about the science of OSMOSIS .
"Shut your mouth and eat your supper."

9. My mother taught me about CONTORTION-ISM.
"Will you look at that dirt on the back of your neck!"

"You'll sit there until all that spinach is gone."

Only you folks my age understand these profound statements. But there's one missing from this list and it's my personal all time favorite!

            DRAMATIC MOSS COVERED WATERFALL IN ROMANIA

According to Sandra this is the Bigar Cascade Falls in Carass Severin, Romania at the 45th parallel.

The dramatic moss-covered falls are situated in the forests of the Anina Mountains and is formed by an underground water spring that spills into the Minis River.

THE RAINBOW EUCALYPTUS TREE

This photo by Amanda Pope shows a group of Rainbow Eucalyptus trees spotted just off the Hana Highway in east Maui.

commonly known as the Rainbow Eucalyptus, the Mindanao Gum, or the Rainbow Gum, it is the only Eucalyptus species found naturally in the Northern Hemisphere.

The unique multi-hued bark is the most distinctive feature of the tree. Patches of outer bark are shed annually at different times, showing a bright green inner bark.

This then darkens and matures to give blue, purple, orange and then maroon tones.

A beautiful capture of Great Esapce Road in Wilsall, Montana. This was posted to Reddit a few days ago by user VFAGB who says him and his girlfriend

sold all of their possessions (camera not included) and travelled the Western states of America for seven months. Itâ€™s a memorable experience and a risk

many will never take. Kudos to them for gathering the courage to just do it!

Chittorgarh, The Largest Fort In India

Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India and the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The fort, plainly known as

Chittor, was the capital of Mewar and is today situated several kilometres by road south of Bhilwara.

Known locally as Churun Meru, itâ€™s apparently about 10 km south of Angel Falls in the same valley. This shot is from May 2011.
